About the Role
Wright Diagnostic Imaging seeks to hire a Registered Cardiac & Vascular Sonographer to join our rapidly expanding team. We are highly focused on quality, efficiency and excellent service. We take pride in being the premier provider of cardiovascular services in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex!
Venous reflux and ablation experience highly preferred.

Hours/Schedule:
Contract, Full Time, Part Time (as needed)
Responsibilities: Echo/Vascular Imaging Procedures, High Quality Work and Timely Processing
Explains procedures to patient or guardian/family member if applicable prior to exam
Positions patient to correct anatomical area of interest
Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations.
Adjusts techniques parameters appropriately for age related factor.
Assists cardiologist with Stress Echoes (when applicable), using appropriate techniques.
Vascular Testing: Carotid/Arterial(upper and lower)/Venous (upper and lower)Duplex Studies
Attention to details required.
Processes and manipulates images, analyzes image quality, troubleshoots, makes technique adjustments or repeat procedures as needed.
Correctly maintains images on various electronic media, exports studies to cloud-based physician reading stations and maintains image data files.
Recognizes normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology relevant to vascular exams.
Demonstrates safe, proactive patient care skills.
Demonstrates basic computer skills.
Demonstrates proper utilization and upkeep of equipment
Ability to consistently produce quality vascular exams following company policies and procedures and ICAVL/ICAEL standards.
Patient Care:
Assesses and recognizes the patient's emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive and psychosocial conditions.
Prepares room for examination.
Excellent and compassionate bedside manner
Obtains patient history as needed.
Equipment/Supplies:
Equipment Operation and Maintenance
Troubleshoots and properly documents equipment malfunction
Maintains equipment and room to sanitary standards
Keep supplies stocked
Demonstrates the knowledge and understanding of quality control and regulatory standards.
Professional Accountability and Partnership:
Maintains and enhances technical skills and technology advancement
Identifies, troubleshoots and initiates quality improvement
Manages time and re-prioritizes as necessary
Qualifications:
Must hold a registry in either Echo and or Vascular
Experience:
2 yr Required
5+ yr prior experience Preferred
Licenses and Certifications:
RCS - Registered Cardiac Sonographer
RDCS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist
RVS - Registered Vascular Specialist
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Part-time
Salary: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
No weekends
Work Location: In person
